Abstract

Surgical treatment is the most effective treatment modality for women with endometriosis-related pain or infertility. However, surgical treatment can reduce the ovarian reserve owing to considerable adherence between the ovarian endometrioma and underlying ovarian parenchyma. In this review, we focus on surgical tips for the conservative surgical treatment of ovarian endometrioma to reduce ovarian damage, with and accompanying video presentation.
