Abstract
Herein we describe two consecutive and rare complications in a patient with known chronic alcoholic pancreatitis and pancreatic pseudocysts. The patient was first admitted to the emergency department with a spontaneous splenic rupture with active hemorrhage needing an emergent splenectomy. Eight months later spontaneous drainage from an orifice in the laparotomy scar occurred, which corresponded to cutaneous fistulization of the pancreatic pseudocyst.
